Meet Melissa

Melissa is a plant-based nutritionist with a background in mental health and education. When working at a psychiatric hospital and at various schools, she noticed something was missing from the treatment of the patients and students. She moved to Portland, OR to find learn about a holistic approach to all types of health.

Mission Statement: As a nutritionist, counselor, and human, I seek to be a nurturing guide who works with clients at their own pace. Compassion and open-mindedness are core values I bring to our sessions as we learn from each other to enhance the well-being of ourselves, the earth, and all of its inhabitants.

Whole Foods Plant-Based Diet
A whole foods plant-based diet (WFPB) focuses on fruits, vegetables, legumes, and grains. It avoids meat, dairy, eggs, and processed foods while minimizing or eliminating oils, fish, and refined carbohydrates.
